In the wake of the increase to the minimum wage, and in light of Tim Hortons’ punitive measures to maintain its multi-billion-dollar profit margins on the backs of its workers, the Ontario Federation of Labour is calling on Tim Hortons to reverse the clawbacks on workers' wages and restore benefits.
Further, the Fight for $15 and Fairness is asking Ontarians and all Canadians to sign a petition demanding that the corporation respect the purpose and spirit of the new minimum wage legislation: to improve the wages and working conditions of Ontario’s lowest-paid workers.
