New online OPSEU resources for Stewards!
Congratulations to everyone who has been elected and accepted the position as an OPSEU Steward. The work you do is crucial to the running of the union, and improving the lives and working conditions of workers across the province.
OPSEU’s regional educational events are currently on hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why the OPSEU Member Education Unit has prepared the following new online resources for Stewards.
This series of quick presentations includes tips, information, videos and Q and As. Download these resources now to view them at your own convenience. They are each designed to take just 15 minutes of your time. The presentations include an overview of how to get started, the Steward’s role as a grievance handler, point person, and organizer, as well as OPSEU’s structure, labour issues, and more.
