Naqvi affirms commitment to stand-alone Correctional Bargaining Unit

Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services Yasir Naqvi affirmed the Liberal government’s commitment to a stand-alone Correctional Bargaining Unit on December 3 at Queen’s Park.

Naqvi said: “If ratified, Speaker, [the tentative agreement] will provide the framework for a stand-alone Correctional Bargaining Unit collective agreement for future rounds of collective bargaining.”
