  • 477 new cases were reported today in Ontario, bringing the cumulative total to 19,598 (this includes 13,990 resolved cases and 1,540 deaths).
  • In Ontario, a total of 397,149 tests have been completed, with tests performed at Public Health Ontario Laboratories and non-Public Health Laboratories. There are currently 14,641 tests under investigation.
  • 1,028 patients are currently hospitalized with COVID-19; 213 are in ICU; and 166 are in ICU on a ventilator

 Actions Taken

  • Updated guidance for Home and Community Care has been posted on the ministry’s website.
  • The Guidance for Emergency Childcare Centers was updated and is attached. It will be available shortly on the ministry’s website in French and English.
