Thank you for your MPP emails
Your Correctional bargaining team would like to thank Corrections division members who have responded to our request to email your MPP. In addition to the bargaining team, the ministers, and the Premier all receive these emails.

If you have not yet had a chance to email your MPP, please take a moment to do it now. Please also be sure to share the link on all social media platforms. We’re counting on you, your family, your friends, and your labour partners to help get our message out.
If our campaign is to be successful, we need to pressure the government with a strong message. Our campaign strategies are focused on a professional political approach. We need all members of the division to come together and deliver our message as a united front.
As further initiatives develop, your continued support and participation are vital. Please keep yourselves informed through your local presidents and regional employee relations committees, since the team will be communicating further direction/initiatives and mobilization plans to the division leadership.
Day of solidarity planned
Our next planned provincial show of solidarity will be on January 8. The team looks forward to attending and participating in events that are currently being planned by local leadership.
Negotiations progressing well
The team has been working hard over the last few weeks, and we have made progress. We have renewed some appendices, and we expect an answer on many of our non-monetary demands very soon. We continue to develop our monetary position, and we will present it to the employer in the new year.
We now take a break for the holidays. However, we will remain in contact with each other and will action any matters that come up from the employer. Emails will be answered whenever possible.
We hope you have a safe and happy holiday season!
In solidarity,
Your Corrections bargaining team
