In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, OPSEU and ERFP have unanimously made the decision to postpone the merger vote scheduled for April 27-May 11, 2020 until the fall. Our first priority is to ensure that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
These are hard times for all Ontarians, including educational workers and students. Together we are working on implementing new ways to support our students through online learning, verifying that our students and staff have the technology they need, collaborating with our colleagues while isolated at home, and persevering through these unprecedented times.

OPSEU and ERFP hope that every bit of support and information we share helps you and your loved ones through this crisis. OPSEU will continue to work directly with members and the government to ensure the safety of all Ontarians, together we will overcome this.
