Last Call! – Court Reporter submission deadline is Sept. 2, 2014

The summer is drawing to a close, and so is the time frame for former court reporters (CR1 or CR2) or court service specialists (CSS) to have their names added to the Group C list as outlined in the Court Reporters MOS, March 3, 2014.

If you qualify and you wish to be included on the Group C list, please provide your information to OPSEU by Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the latest.

We kindly ask you to provide as much of the following information as possible:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • WIN ID number (6-digits)
  • Court location (in which you performed transcript work)
  • Position title and classification while you performed transcript work
  • Category of hours, if you were an FPT (1000 or 1500)
  • Continuous Service Date (CSD, if known)
  • Start and end period of transcript production
  • If you’re a current Ontario Public Service employee, please indicate your position title and current ministry

If you know of members who used to prepare and certify transcripts, please share this information with them so that we can ensure all court reporters who are entitled to the provisions of the settlement are included.

All members who are added to the Group C list will receive confirmation via e-mail (if applicable). You can submit your information to [email protected].

The ministry advises that election packages will be sent to members on the Group C list in the Fall of 2014.

For those named on Group “A” and “B” of the MOS, election packages have been delivered or mailed to eligible individuals and are required to be returned to the Ministry by Oct. 3, 2014.Those with questions about the election package may direct questions to [email protected].
