On May Day, Sunday May 1, OPSEU/SEFPO members are encouraged to join the Ontario Federation of Labour’s (OFL) province-wide Day of Action for a better Ontario.
At more than 20 locations across Ontario, the OFL is planning local rallies, marches, and other events to mark the Day of Action. We’re encouraging OPSEU/SEFPO members to visit https://ofl.ca/may-1-local-actions/ to find and attend events near you.
Workers deserve better – together, let’s make our voices heard.
We must continue to demand the repeal of anti-worker laws like Bill 124, 195 and 106, and build Ontario. Come out and show your support – don’t forget to bring your OPSEU/SEFPO flags and homemade placards as well! There will also be some pre-made placards available for pick-up from OPSEU/SEFPO regional offices.
For those in the Greater Toronto Area, newly-elected OPSEU/SEFPO President JP Hornick will be speaking at noon at Nathan Phillips Square where OPSEU/SEFPO members will assemble before marching to Queen’s Park.
