Public Services International (PSI), in partnership with the UK’s Open University, is carrying out an online survey on migrant health care and social care workers’ resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
With this survey — which is being distributed in Canada by the National Union of Public and General Employees (NUPGE) — PSI and Open University are hoping to find out more about the conditions and challenges facing migrant health workers during the pandemic. They also want to find out what challenges unions face in representing migrant health workers and defending their rights. PSI aims to use the findings to inform its advocacy on building sustainable health care and social care workforces in the future.
The survey is aimed at unions in the health and social care sectors. It is available in English, French, and Spanish, and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
