The OPSEU-led "We Own It" campaign picked up favourable news coverage at its town hall meeting at the Benson Centre in Cornwall June 12. Panel member and OPSEU Regional Vice-President (Region 4) Gareth Jones said one of the goals of the campaign is to encourage citizens to confront their candidates about privatization in the upcoming provincial election. “We want to make sure that when the election happens, whoever forms the next government opposes privatization,” he said.
