To mark the start of Developmental Services Appreciation Week on June 19, workers from across Ontario held community block walks in regions across the province.
Holding placards with signs that read “Minister Parsa: Fund Better Wages” and “Premier Ford: Fix the Crisis” workers walked in their communities to “make some noise and be heard!” and draw attention to the It’s Life Changing Work campaign.
The campaign is calling on the Ford government to live up to their promises to workers and Ontarians by investing in Developmental Service workers.
