Following close to two years of bargaining members of Local 206 (CML/Lifelabs) ratified their first Collective agreement. The members voted 63% in favour of the tentative agreement the parties negotiated recently after the members rejected the first tentative agreement reached in March.
Highlights of the one year deal include:
• 10.37% and 7.39% wage increases for a majority of the employees
• 2.5 % retroactive payment
• 2.5 % signing bonus
• A new 6 step wage grid
• Grievance procedure
• Job Posting language
• Layoff and Recall Language
