Since the federal government is the initial funding source for many of the services we provide,  there is much at stake for OPSEU members and the services we provide in the upcoming election.

To help members understand the issues, and allow them to express their issues and concerns, OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas will be hosting two telephone town halls about the federal election.

Both will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The first will start at 11 am; the second begins at 7 pm.

If you have provided OPSEU with an up-to-date personal phone number, you will be automatically called at the beginning of each town hall, and invited to stay on the line to participate. To ensure OPSEU has your personal phone number, please use the “member’s portal or call 1-800-268-7376 (or 416-443-8888 if you’re in the Toronto area).

You can also dial directly into the calls with these phone numbers and ID codes:

  • English: 1-877-229-8493 / ID code: 112847
  • French: 1-877-255-5810 / ID code: 117019
