One of the first people to talk to Kathleen Wynne after the dramatic Liberal majority win in Ontario on Thursday, June 12 was none other than our own Lana-Lee Hardacre, College Faculty Bargaining Team representative and member of Local 417 at Conestoga College.
No sooner had Wynne delivered her post-election speech to supporters and the media, but Hardacre stepped forward and raised College Faculty issues. Hardacre's quick thinking successfully caught Wynne’s attention.
The Bargaining Team is encouraged by Wynne’s expression of interest in post-secondary education. Making quality college education a priority is what you would call a Wynne win.
