As you know, this coming Sunday, May 13 is Mother’s Day. It’s an important time to take pause and to celebrate women and family. We at OPSEU want to thank all the mothers in Ontario for your contributions, and dedication to our province.
Mothers are such an important part of our OPSEU family. Their wisdom makes us better as they help guide us in every facet of our daily lives.
They also help shape OPSEU’s priorities in many areas, including fighting to end the gender pay gap and working to improve child care.
Mother’s Day is not only an opportunity to think about the tremendous role that our mothers play in shaping us as people, but also to renew our commitment to do everything we can to make it easier for mothers to fully participate in workplaces across Ontario.
So, on behalf of our 155,000 members, and OPSEU’s entire Executive Board, thanks to all the moms and women who make this province great.
