Message from the Chair
For over one hundred years, women have been celebrating, remembering and encouraging one another, as well as our brothers, in the struggle for peace, equal rights and social and economic justice. On Saturday, March 8th, we do it again! In Ontario, events are being organized to recognize International Women’s Day (IWD). I encourage you to contact your Regional PWC Representatives for information on events in your Region.
Securing social and economic justice for women everywhere is everybody’s work, not just women’s work! This will make gender parity a lived reality and tip the balance in favour of equality. What we do today will ensure a bright and equal tomorrow for girls and women everywhere.
All family, friends, and allies are welcome.
In solidarity
