Brockville still talking after We Own It town hall

More than a week after the We Own It town hall meeting in Brockville on October 10, local media outlets are still reporting on it. The St. Lawrence Times writes that "privatization … affects all aspects of life," and goes on to report that OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas said privatization leads to higher costs and lower quality services. In its second report on the event, The Brockville Times and Recorder noted that Thomas and two local politicians agreed to keep fighting to bring a secure female treatment centre to the Brockville Mental Health Centre.
