Over 30 vocal supporters turned out for a noon-time rally outside of Bob Rae’s Constituency Office on March 26th. OPSEU members joined with representatives from OSSTF, USW, CUPE and the Council of Canadians, to listen to speakers including Executive Board Member Jen Giroux, as well as Patty Ducharme, Vice President of PSAC. Singer Faith Nolan added her rousing songs to the event. Three unions and the Council of Canadians entered the offices to demand a meeting with Bob Rae regarding his extraordinary change of position on this urgent matter of human rights.
