Are you a HOOPP pension recipient? Please plan ahead for potential Canada Post service disruption Sept. 26

The following information affects members of the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) who currently receive pension cheques via the Canadian postal system.
Alert from HOOPP:
Canada Post Corporation (CPC) and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) are currently in contract negotiations, with the potential for a work stoppage beginning September 26 if a new agreement cannot be reached.
HOOPP does not anticipate that October’s payments to the affected members will be impacted.
For your convenience, you can view electronic copies of your documents on HOOPP Connect, and if you have any documents to return to HOOPP you can upload them using the Secure Message attachment option. You can find this feature under My Inbox. It’s easy and convenient.
