Agreement reached between province, Corrections union

TORONTO – The union bargaining team for frontline correctional services workers has reached an agreement to settle all outstanding issues in contract talks with the government of Ontario, the Ontario Public Service Employees Union announced today.

A news release and comment from the union will be available at a news conference later this morning.

The collective agreement for some 6,000 OPSEU members working in correctional facilities and probation offices across the province expired December 31, 2014.
