7,500 LCBO workers across province hold strike vote

A province-wide strike vote for thousands of LCBO staff workers has begun and the union representing the workers says the province's "ill-advised plan" to sell alcohol in grocery stores is a key concern. OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas says losing the LCBO would cost the province revenue that pays for public services such as schools, roads, and hospitals.
