On February 13, 2003, OPSEU/SEFPO Hospital Professionals walked off the job and successfully fought for better staffing, better working conditions and better patient care in Ontario.
Twenty years later, the fight continues. Hospital Professionals have had enough of Ford government’s mismanagement of the healthcare system: the underfunding of hospitals, extreme and persistent short-staffing, and the manufacturing of a crisis to justify privatizing hospital services.
