2016 Human Rights Conference

OPSEU’s latest video captures the fourth biennial OPSEU Human Rights Conference.

The two-day conference explored the intersections of human rights and workers’ rights, featuring opening remarks from OPSEU President Warren (Smokey) Thomas, a keynote address by Renu Mandhane, Ontario’s Human Rights Commissioner, and special presentations by migrant workers’ rights activist Hussan Syed and socialist hip-hop artist Mohammad Ali.
