OPSEU/SEFPO is committed to conducting the business of the union fairly, honestly and with transparency.

To foster a culture of accountability, OPSEU/SEFPO has developed a Whistleblower Policy (Procedures Manual 4.6.1) that provides a process to report wrongdoing as soon as possible and to shelter whistleblowers from retaliation as a result of making a protected disclosure. The Policy covers OPSEU/SEFPO Executive Board members, those elected or appointed to an office within the union, staff, former staff, and anyone acting on the union’s behalf.

To make a disclosure under the Whistleblower Policy, you may contact either:

  • The OPSEU/SEFPO Whistleblower Officer (the Administrator of People & Culture) at [email protected].
  • The Tandem Team, an independent third party who will receive and anonymize the disclosure before submitting it to the Whistleblower Officer. Note: Please reference OPSEU/SEFPO’s Code 400001 when submitting a disclosure.
