OPSEU rallies to save the Ontario Tree Seed Plant

OPSEU Local 313 hosted a rally and family barbecue on Saturday in Angus to boost support for the Ontario Tree Seed Plant.  The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry announced last week it would review the previous Liberal government’s plan to close the facility this fall.

OPSEU would like to thank everyone who came out – with a special shout-out to Somerville Nurseries for donating 100 seedlings.

Please visit www.opseu.org/treeseedplant for more information and to send a letter to Minister Jeff Yurek, asking him to keep the Ontario Tree Seed Plant open, and keep it public!
