The 2014 OPSEU Human Rights Conference highlighted that everything we do as trade unionists is part of a larger struggle for human rights for all people within Canada and globally.
Issues discussed during this conference included human rights violations committed against aboriginal communities, employment barriers for Canadian immigrants, as well as respecting the human rights of children and migrant workers. Attendees have returned to their locals with a renewed commitment to social justice.
