More than 250 OPSEU members came out at lunch time on August 22 to enjoy a free hot dog and support their bargaining teams. The executives of Locals 502, 503 and 508 organized the barbecue in support of OPS bargaining. The weather was great and the long lines moved fast. Showing their support for the union’s OPS members, bargaining for a new contract will start in November, were OPSEU 1st Vice-President/Treasurer Eduardo Almeida, Regional Vice-president Nancy Pridham, Executive Board Member Rod Bemister and OPS Central/Unified Bargaining Team Chair Roxanne Barnes.
