Put Kids First! June 1 Event Listings

On Wednesday June 1 OPSEU CAS members across the province will deliver the message that vulnerable children shall be considered first when it comes to meeting the requirements of child protection work. At 12 pm CAS workers will gather in front of their agencies to erect workload sculptures representing a key obstacle workers face in their mandate to “Put Kids First.”

CAS workers are asking the Ministry of Children and Youth Services to carry out an independent workload study in consultation with frontline workers and to resource its findings.
