Please join OPSEU Local 262 and CUPE Local 966 at a rally in support of locked-out March of Dimes workers in Oakville.
Date: Wednesday Nov. 6
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: March of Dimes head office, 10 Overlea Blvd., North York
This employer is a non-profit charity that enjoys $30 million in assets and a CEO that is paid $270,000 annually. It has earned a profit of $900,000 since 2010. On Oct. 28 it locked out its own employees because they refuse to take wage concessions.
CUPE Local 966, representing March of Dimes workers in Toronto, is in bargaining with the same employer and faces the same hard line on wages and benefits.
More than ever we need to stand in solidarity with March of Dimes workers.
You can make a difference. Join us this Wednesday on the information picket.
