The MOL has written orders in at least 12 hospitals and in 2 EMS services. Orders include:

• Instruction and training for workers on EVD procedures
• That workers shall be provided with training for use and care and limitations of PPE, donning and doffing, and location of PPE.
• That PPE should be provided in the proper sizes
• That gowns and PPE be fluid-resistant
• That employers must develop procedures specific to EVD
• That the employer MUST consult with the Joint Health and Safety Committee about the EVD policies and training content
• That material must be disposed of in a safe manner
• That the employer must develop policies and procedures for isolation rooms
• That the employer must ensure that workers have the information to know how to protect themselves when a patient presents with Ebola symptoms
