The nurses, clerical and custodial staff at the Family Health Organization (FHO) have been on strike since May 22 over low wages and unfair working conditions.
The workers are asking for: 1) wage increases that keep up with inflation; a wage “grid” to ensure transparency and fairness in hiring practices; and 3) no clawbacks to employer pension contributions.
