OPSEU Local 507 is pleased to announce the ratification of a new Collective Agreement between OPSEU and Teranet Inc. on Monday, December 19, 2011

Changes include:

A wage adjustment of:

  • 2011 – 0% general wage increase (+ $1600 lump sum payment)

  • January 1, 2012 – 2.25% general wage increase

  • January 1, 2013 – 1.75% general wage increase

  • On call premiums increased $5.00 to $55/week for the first 26 weeks a year, and doubled to $100/week for any week on call beyond the first 26 weeks.

  • Eye care coverage increased to $450/24 months ($350/12 months for dependent children) plus $80 for eye exam.

  • Hearing aids increased to $800/4 years.

  • Dental implants considered for reimbursement at the cost of the least expensive professionally adequate treatment to the plan maximum.

  • Severance maximums increased from 26 to 35 weeks and include placement services.
