Here’s the text of the flyers:

Doug Ford is creating a crisis in Ontario.

Devastating cuts to public services.
Disastrous privatization schemes.
Disregarding human rights.
Dismantling the labour laws that protect workers.
Destroying the environment.

Doug has been damaging Ontario every day since he took office last year. Every day, Doug and his cronies announce a new plan to make Ontario worse.

OPSEU members are fighting back!

The Together to Win campaign is a grassroots, member-led fight back campaign. In each of OPSEU’s seven regions across Ontario, OPSEU members are coming together with community groups, labour allies and local residents. We’re holding rallies, lobbying politicians and spreading the word in our communities that Doug’s agenda is bad for Ontario.

In other words: we’re coming Together to Win!

How OPSEU is coming Together to Win:

OPSEU members are planning and supporting grassroots actions in our communities that fight the Ford agenda.

OPSEU has created the Together to Win fund, and dedicated several staff at Head Office to support these efforts. Each region’s organizing efforts are led by members – Executive Board Members, local leaders and rank-and-file activists. Executive Board Members authorize funds and request staff support from the Together to Win office when needed.

What we’ve done together so far:

Since our launch in April 2019, the Together to Win campaign has already supported dozens of actions across the province! OPSEU members have:

  • Held rallies in our communities in support of education, health care, and autism funding
  • Picketed PC fundraisers and publicity events
  • Lobbied MPPs in their local constituency offices
  • Joined giant rallies at Queen’s Park for health care and education.

Do you have an idea for an action in your local or community to push back against the Ford government?
