The Disability Rights Caucus invites all OPSEU members and guests to an Engagement Forum to be held at the Toronto Regional Office on December 7, 2016. The purpose of the forum is to broaden connections with Region 5 activists, identify key issues confronting human rights activists and determine where the caucus needs to focus. Please join us so we can get to know each other and talk about how we will build a more equitable future together.
We will also have a keynote speaker, renowned disability activist, John Rae, on the theme of “We are who we stand with” – a discussion on building solidarity and engaging in rights organizing and activism.
Light refreshments will be served and children are welcome.
