You’re invited to an upcoming virtual event meant to engage 2SLGBTQIA+ members with OPSEU/SEFPO’s Rainbow Alliance arc-en-ciel (RAA) Committee!
When?
Monday, April 15th – 7pm EST
What?
- Introductions and member engagement
- Presentation on roles and responsibilities of the RAA committee
- Education on accessing RAA funding for 2SLGBTQIA+ and Pride programs in your community
- RAA question & answer period
Why?
RAA has clarified a goal of increasing engagement with Queer members across our Union, especially with two-spirit, Black, Indigenous, and racialized queer members. We identify under-representation of two-spirit, Black, Indigenous, and racialized queer members on our committee as a gap in servicing our full community and are committed to resolving this through building meaningful relationships with our members and opening space for racialized and Indigenous individuals to engage with and join our committee.
