The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) has launched a campaign to combat heat stress in the workplace. We are calling on all interested workers to join the campaign.

Extreme heat that injures, sickens, and even kills workers is caused by work and climate conditions. The heat is on in Ontario, and our governments must put people before profit. We’re past the point of calling every worker killed by the climate crisis a “wake-up call.” We need action now.

That’s why we launched this campaign. We’re fighting for meaningful legislation that will better protect all Ontario workers from the dangers of heat stress in the workplace.

Join a training session hosted by OFL President Laura Walton, on how you can get involved with the heat stress campaign and organize in your own workplace and community.

No previous campaign experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome to participate.
