This is one of the largest annual trans events in Canada. The march provides a place for trans-identified people to rally, stand up and come together in solidarity. All trans-identified people, their friends and allies are welcome to march. A large contingent of people from the labour contingent is also expected to attend.

This is a grassroots event where women and trans people take over the streets of Toronto. It also serves as a political demonstration of critical mass and to revel in the strength, diversity and passion of women and trans people.

Annual Pride Brunch hosted by OPSEU's Workers of Colour Caucus

Make sure you have enough energy for the day's activities by fueling up at the Workers of Colour Caucus Annual Pride Brunch! Following that, meet up with the rest of the OPSEU contingent at the top of Bloor Street and Park Road in preparation for the annual Pride Parade!
36th anniversary of the Pride Parade
1:30 p.m.
Bloor Street and Ted Rogers Way
Bring sunscreen, water (to drink AND to squirt) and get ready to march, dance and celebrate the 36th annual Pride Parade! Members and their guests who would like to be on the float will need to register by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
A shuttle bus has been arranged for OPSEU members who want to help out following the BPS conference. Transfer points will be from the Sheraton Hotel and Bay/Wellesley Streets.
Pride BBQ hosted by OPSEU Region 5
4 p.m. (or immediately following the Pride Parade)

What is the best thing after spending an afternoon in the sweltering heat? Air conditioning! However, burgers and hot dogs are a close second, and the BBQ has both. Join fellow OPSEU members, their friends and families at the OPSEU Membership Centre as we wind down the weekend's festivities.
