OPSEU/SEFPO Local 439 mental health care workers at Brockville Mental Health Center are fighting for a fair deal that addresses issues like staffing shortages and wages that don’t keep up with the rising cost of living. Despite Bill 124 – the public sector wage cap bill – being struck down by the court, their employer is determined to keep enforcing these wage caps.
1% is not enough! That status quo has got to go .
Local 439 members deserve fair wages to address the health staffing crisis; transparency from their employer; and better working conditions.
Support from fellow OPSEU/SEFPO members, their community and the public is critical to their fight for a fair deal! Come out to the solidarity rally on Wednesday, September 6 to tell the employer: Enough is enough!
