Ontario needs the LCBO. The profits from LCBO sales help pay for teachers in Cornwall, MRIs in Timmins, highways in Simcoe County, hospitals in Thunder Bay, child care spaces in Toronto, Western University in London, Mohawk College in Hamilton, and more. Each year, people who shop at the LCBO provide enough money to the province to pay for more than 13,300 kilometers of highway resurfacing. Why would we give that up?
Please plan to join Local 682, representing LCBO employees, at this information picket:
Date: Saturday, April 1
Time: 1 to 4 p.m.
Place: Outside LCBO Store #387, 1711 Algonquin Ave., North Bay (Hwy 11 North and Hwy 17 West)
