Our union is changing rapidly and OPSEU invites you to be a part of that change. We welcome all Region 2 OPSEU members who identify as racialized to attend the first meeting of the Region 2 Workers of Colour Caucus.
We invite you to make your voice heard and participate in organizing, educating, and empowering racialized workers to be engaged in our union!
The Workers of Colour Caucus provides support and advocates on behalf of racialized members of OPSEU and external communities of colour. The Caucus also has a significant role in researching and identifying issues related to the changing demographics of OPSEU and within the labour movement.
The meeting agenda includes a report from the Workers of Colour Caucus, a discussion of issues in Region 2, and the development of an action plan. A more detailed agenda will be provided at the meeting.
