Members of OPSEU/SEFPO Local 454, representing over 320 workers at the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, entered their second week on strike – and they are taking the fight to the doorsteps of the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services.
Join workers in Ottawa this Thursday morning as they challenge the province’s callous approach to the care sector — reflected in child protection, just as attacks on health care and home care — and call for real support for the workers who are working hard to keep children with their families and in their communities.
