Attention all OPSEU/SEFPO members,
OPSEU/SEFPO’s Provincial Young Workers Committee (PYC) is hosting a PYC Zoom Room on April 2, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and on April 5 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. It will be a conversation about Robert’s Rules of Order in preparation for Convention 2025.
Robert’s Rules of Order is a set of parliamentary procedures that helps guide meetings and decision-making.
Our parliamentarian guest speaker, Yolanda B’Dacy, will teach us how to participate effectively in meetings (or at Convention!), ensuring fair discussion, orderly decision-making, and respectful interactions, which are crucial skills for navigating professional environments, especially when collaborating in teams or committees within an organization.
The PYC strives to enhance the skills of young workers as activists, strengthen their leadership skills, protect and advocate for their rights as workers and ensure that these voices are heard.
The PYC Zoom Room discussion is targeted to young workers but open to all members. Please use the link below to register for the specific day. A confirmation email with the Zoom link will be sent to you closer to the event.
