Under the threat of closure and cuts to legal aid clinics across the GTA, we’re bringing the community legal clinics to the doorstep of Conservative MPPs. See below for the current list of MPP offices we’ll be visiting with our pop-up clinics.
The Conservative government is trying to cut funding to Legal Aid Ontario by over $130 million this year, and over $160 million next year. This is an attack on some of the most vulnerable people in Ontario. The cuts mean there will be less help for tenants who are forced onto the streets, refugees facing deportation, people with mental health struggles who have been denied social assistance, and more.
Reverse the cuts to legal aid!
