The OPSEU/SEFPO Indigenous Circle will be hosting a hybrid event to commemorate Orange Shirt Day and National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This event will honour the survivors, including those who did not make it home, and all lives and community impacted by the residential school system .

Join us on September 26 to reflect, remember and recognize the ongoing effects of intergenerational trauma.  We will also pay respect to the souls that continue to be uncovered and recommit ourselves to our responsibility to truth and reconciliation.

When: Monday, September 26, 2022

Time: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Location: Ottawa Regional Office Membership Centre or Virtually via Zoom (a link will be provided to all registered participants in advance of the event)

For any questions or to register, please contact equity@opseu.org  with your name, union number and if you will attend in person or virtually. Space is limited for in person event, so please register in advance.
