The OPSEU/SEFPO Provincial Women’s Committee (PWC) invites you to submit your application to attend the 2023 OPSEU/SEFPO Women’s Conference.
Applications can be submitted here – the deadline is 5pm on October 11, 2023.
The conference takes place Dec. 1-3,2023, at the Sheraton Centre in downtown Toronto. This event will be in person. In addition to welcoming previous conference participants, we would like to extend a special invitation to those who have not attended in the past. We welcome all members who identify as woman. Don’t miss this opportunity to network, learn, and be uplifted!
The theme for the 2023 OPSEU/SEFPO Women’s Conference is “Let’s Get Louder.” It will look at gender equality and the strength and resilience of women. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the numerous ways that women contribute to all aspects of society, including reproductive rights and the economy.
We will showcase the skills, attributes, and talents that are not always recognized, celebrated, or encouraged. We will also look at some of the challenges faced by women such as childcare and gender inequality to mention but a few. Our goal is to bring together expert speakers and workers in the field, to educate, inspire, motivate, and transform the work we do within our union and communities. Event participants will be selected by the PWC with assistance from OPSEU/SEFPO’s Member Equity Unit. The selection process will try to achieve a diverse group of attendees.

The event is open to all OPSEU/SEFPO members in good standing, regardless of their union experience. Members of equity-seeking groups are especially encouraged to apply.
Child Care will be provided throughout the conference: Friday, December 1st from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, Saturday, December 2nd. From 8:30am to 5:00pm & 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and Sunday, December 3rd from 8:30am to 12:30pm.You may submit your childcare request upon completion of the selection process.
