OPS Conference and Divisionals 2016
The 2016 OPS Conference and Divisional Meetings will be held October 29-30, 2016 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen St. West, Toronto, ON.
A call letter to all local presidents in the OPS was emailed on August 3, 2016. For a sample of the call letter, please download this document: Callout Letter for OPS Conference 2016. Please be advised that the number of delegates per local is determined by the Convention formula.
The OPS Conference and Divisional Meetings registration and related forms have been sent to all local presidents in the OPS. Those forms can be downloaded below.
Completed documents should be returned by email to [email protected] or by fax to 416-448-7462 no later than October 20, 2016. Time-off requests can be sent to the same email address.
Please note that OPSEU Head Office will be responsible for booking hotel rooms for this event.
On-line registration now available
Online submission of some forms for the OPS Divisional Meeting is now available if the required Credentials Attestation Form has been submitted for your local. You will be able to complete the Member Event Registration Form, Childcare Form and Hotel Booking Form on your computer and submit them directly online through OPSEU’s member portal.
In the attachments below there are two documents to help you with the online process:
- Instructions on how to register for the member portal. This is required to be able to register for events online.
- Instructions for the online registration process
This is a voluntary process and members are still able to submit their forms in the normal fashion.
Some forms will still need to be submitted separately, outside of the online registration process. They are the Advance Request Form, Direct Deposit Agreement Form and Human Rights Accommodation Form, if required. These forms are available to download through the member portal. These additional forms are all fillable pdf documents that can be completed electronically and submitted via email to the addresses specified on the respective form. If a signature is required, the additional forms must be printed and signed, then scanned or faxed. The forms can also be mailed to OPS Negotiations at 100 Lesmill Road, Toronto ON M3B 3P8.

OPS Divisional Parking Information
The registration booth for Municipal P Parking will be available to accept payment as follows:
Friday October 28 5pm-7pm
Saturday October 29 7am-10am
Please bring your parking ticket that you received upon entry to the parking lot.
