The Provincial Coalition of Racialized Workers invites OPSEU members to its annual Black History Forum on February 21, 2020.

This year’s theme “Honouring our Own” will pay tribute to the late Fred Upshaw. He was elected president of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU) in 1990, a role he held until 1995 which made him the first African-Canadian to lead a major labour union in Canada.

This event will take place on February 21, 2020 at the Membership Centre of the OPSEU Regional Office at 31 Wellesley St. East, Toronto from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP no later than February 19th to: peter369@gmail.com.
