Join the Sudbury and District Labour Council’s Women’s Committee for a film screening of She's Beautiful When She's Angry, a 2014 documentary about the birth of the modern women's liberation movement from 1966 to 1971. Popcorn and drinks will be provided!
Please bring a woman's product as a donation (i.e. gloves, nylons, cosmetics, etc.). These items will be given to the Pack a Purse program. All purses will be given to teenage girls and women in need within the Sudbury community.
Donations for the Pack-a-Purse program are being accepted until December 6, 2016. Items can be dropped off at the Sudbury and District Labour Council Office at 109 Elm Street, Suite 209 on Tuesdays or Thursdays between noon to 4 pm. Pickup may also be arranged by contacting Treana Campbell at Treanacampbell@eastlink.ca.
