Anti-trans groups are planning a demonstration of hate in Durham and OSSTF organisers are calling for community members, trade unions, educators, and allies to show up for a counter-protest of unity and love!
Come stand up against homophobia, transphobia, and hate!
Let’s send a clear message to groups like the Durham Region Freedom Fighters and Action4Canada that there is no room for hate in Durham, and that people will always come together to support our Queer youth.

LOCATION: Durham District School Board located at 400 Taunton Road E in Whitby.
(Supporters are encouraged to use the entrance off Anderson – not the main one at Taunton – and park at the Durham District School Board for discretion.)
Bring signage, flags, and wear pride symbols!
This is a chance to drown out the haters and send a clear and overwhelming message that LGBTQIA+ people and allies are here and we are not going anywhere.
