On Sunday, June 28th at 10am please join us as we gather together to show solidarity and thank the hard work of essential Migrant Workers during this pandemic. The caravan aims to highlight the important role that front line workers like farm workers are playing during this crisis. We also aim to highlight the lack of protection provided by both the Federal and Provincial government. Come join us to demand safe working conditions and say thank you to those that put food on our tables.
We are meeting in Leamington in the Walmart Parking lot at 10am. The caravan will take off at 10:30am and will end at the Big Tomato in downtown Leamington, where a march is taking place at 12pm noon. This March will end at Lakeside Produce.
We encourage participants to display signs/messages on their vehicles for the caravan. Bring chalk with you to leave messages for Migrant Workers on the sidewalk where we end the caravan downtown.
